With over 10 years of experience, I can confidently say that bridal and event hair is my calling! From the calm and quiet buzz of elopements, to the energy and excitement of a huge wedding party, getting my brides ready for such a special day is my biggest joy.
I have gained expertise in the styling industry after spending many years working at Drybar in San Fransisco, taking classes and training 1:1 with industry experts, and serving brides in Napa, Lake Tahoe, and all over Northern California, Currently I am thrilled to be offering services to all my beautiful Maui (and other Hawaiian islands) brides! I am continuously educating myself to keep up with industry trends, making sure that your vision will come to life (and stay put all day!). Q: What services do you offer?
A: I offer hairstyling services to brides, their guests, as well as photoshoot or event hairstyling. I have expertise in a wide variety of styles, from glam waves, half up's, updos, boho styling, as well as timeless, clean and polished looks. Q: How should I prepare for my appt? A: It is crucial that hair be clean and dry for our appt. Washing the morning of or night before is ideal. Remember to keep that conditioner on your ends only while washing! Q: Do you travel to other islands or states? A: I am happy to travel anywhere! Please inquire for a personalized quote on travel. Q: How far in advance should I book? A: Due to high volume of bookings, I recommend booking as soon as possible! While most brides book 9-12 months out, feel free to inquire about availability anytime! Q: What happens if you are ill on my wedding day? A: With an amazing network of talented artists on island, I will have a trusted stylist step in to take my place. Q: Will my hair last in the Maui wind and humidity? A: After years of working in the Maui elements I have developed a technique of curling hair tighter so it relaxes beautifully and stays curled all day. Along with my product layering, and pinning technique, you can be sure you'll love your look from first kiss to last dance. You can also count on me to advise you on a style that may work better for the weather that day. Q: What if I have to Postpone my wedding date? A: I understand that things happen! You may change your date of services one time with no additional charges, provided there is 72 hr notice, and I have availability on your new date. |
